A different approach to Healing: self regulation leading to real change.
Many people arrive in my office after years of searching for answers.
They’ve tried medications, supplements, therapies, or wellness practices. Sometimes they helped a little. Sometimes they didn’t. Often the experience leaves people feeling like they are chasing symptoms rather than understanding what is actually happening in their bodies.
My work begins from a different premise.
Healing becomes much more effective when we first identify the pattern driving the symptoms, then apply the right intervention, and support the nervous system so the body can maintain change.
This approach combines clinical pattern recognition from Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern nervous system science and practical regulation skills that people can use in daily life.
Over time I’ve found that meaningful change usually unfolds through three layers of care.
1. Clear Assessment: Understanding the Pattern
Every body has patterns.
Pain, digestive issues, fatigue, sleep disruption, anxiety, and hormonal shifts are rarely isolated problems. They are usually part of a larger physiological pattern involving circulation, inflammation, stress physiology, and nervous system regulation.
The first step in my work is a Virtual Assessment, where we map symptoms, history, and lifestyle patterns to identify what is most likely driving the problem.
Many people have never had this kind of integrative evaluation before. Conventional medicine often focuses on ruling out disease, which is important, but it doesn’t always explain why symptoms persist.
The goal of the assessment is simple:
clarity.
When we understand the pattern, treatment becomes far more precise.
2. Targeted Treatment: Applying the Right Intervention
Once the pattern is clear, we can apply the appropriate treatment.
My clinical work combines several approaches:
Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture
hands-on bodywork and fascial release
herbal and lifestyle guidance
targeted nervous system interventions
These treatments are designed to influence circulation, inflammation, hormonal signaling, and nervous system regulation.
Patients often come for help with:
chronic pain or tension
sleep disruption and fatigue
stress-related symptoms
digestive concerns
hormonal transitions
recovery from injury or intense physical activity
Treatment works best when it addresses the root pattern, not just the symptom.
This is where clinical pattern recognition becomes important. The body responds differently when we intervene at the correct leverage point.
3. Nervous System Support: Helping Change Hold
Treatment alone is rarely enough.
If the nervous system remains in a persistent state of stress or reactivity, symptoms often return. The body may briefly improve, but the underlying regulatory patterns remain unchanged.
For that reason, the third layer of my work focuses on nervous system literacy.
This includes two types of support.
Lumina Restore Bio Sessions
These sessions use therapeutic technologies—such as PEMF, infrared light therapy, and vibroacoustic therapy—to help the body downshift from a stressed state into recovery.
Many people experience these sessions as a rapid nervous system reset that supports sleep, recovery, and stress reduction.
Code Calm and the SNAG Choice Protocol
Technology can help the nervous system settle, but people also benefit from learning how to regulate their own responses in daily life.
In my Code Calm classes, participants learn practical skills for working with stress in real time. One of the core tools we practice is the SNAG Choice Protocol, a simple sequence that helps people pause, regulate their nervous system, and choose how they want to respond rather than reacting automatically.
These skills build resilience over time.
Healing Is Not Just About Symptoms
Many people initially come for relief from pain, fatigue, anxiety, or digestive problems.
Those improvements matter. But something else often happens along the way.
When the body becomes more regulated and symptoms begin to shift, people frequently gain a clearer sense of what is truly theirs to take responsibility for—and what is not.
That clarity can change how people approach work, relationships, health decisions, and the pace of their lives.
In that sense, healing is not only about symptom reduction. It is also about developing a more stable relationship with one’s own body and nervous system.
A Practical Path Forward
My goal is not to offer endless treatments or complicated protocols.
The intention is simpler.
Understand the pattern.
Apply the right intervention.
Support the nervous system so improvement continues.
That is the structure behind my work and the reason the care model follows three steps:
Assessment → Treatment → Ongoing Nervous System Support
For many people, this structure brings something they have been missing for a long time:
a clear plan.
Start Here: Virtual Assessment
If you’re curious about whether this approach might help with your health concerns, the best place to begin is a Virtual Assessment. We’ll look carefully at your symptoms and history, identify the underlying pattern, and determine the most appropriate next step.
